Why do strange things happen when I'm about to fall asleep?

For example, every few nights I'll be close to asleep and I'll feel like I'm falling off of the bed even when I'm right smack dab in the middle of the bed. Sometimes I'll think I'm hearing a voice and wake up, but that's extremely rare. Usually only happens when I'm really tired. Not physically exhausted, just really tired. It snaps me out of my mindset when these things happen and keeps me from falling asleep, which isn't great since I'm already struggling with insomnia. Its 4:44am right frigging now...

Why aren't my rockets working?

Hello, I am 23 and I have just gotten into the rocket hobby, and I have started making my own engines. I am primarily using a NH4ClO4+Al+Epoxy fuel of my own proportion, which is very powerful. My problem is that the tops of all my engines are blowing out and, therefore, not flying. I don't know why none of them are working. Of the suggested cartridges my vote would be for the 7mm Rem Mag. Excellent cartridge. I've taken mule deer and elk and caribou with that caliber. Also used it in Africa on antelope. Ammunition is usually readily available. However, strongly recommend you take up hand loading. when you go hunting you're only going to shoot a few rounds, uming you are a good shot and your rifle is accurate. As for actions, there has been some issues with the Remington 700 series of rifles. I'd stay away from them. Winchester is good and so are most of the other manufacturers. I personally favor the Ruger but their rifles tend to be a bit heavy. I had a 7mm in a 22" barrel and one in a 26" barrel and believe it or not, the 22" barrel was much more accurate so I got rid of the longer barrel. The difference in velocity didn't make much difference. Good hunting.

Do the Columbus Blue Jackets have what it takes to win a Stanley Cup?

I have followed Columbus for several years and the team is getting better but the Cup in the near future..no. I think Columbus's problems lie with Scott Howson the GM. In my opinion he just does not reach for real reliable players. He's had ok draft picks (Brard, Voracek, etc.) but Columbus has no depth. We have Rick Nash and that's about it. We have a team that has to rely on one player too much. If Nash is not playing well our team crumbles. I would like to see Columbus bring in more solid players. We lack defense as well. We just don't have a solid blueline. I honestly also think Garon needs to be our starter. Mason is a good goalie don't get me wrong but Garon is more consistent. I think we will make the playoffs this year but I don't see us going any farther than the 2nd round.

Dodge neon 2005 sxt leak and freon smell?

i have a leak that feels like coolant or something dripping from the bottom of my car on the driver side. you only see it when my car remains idle for a while and then there is a streak of it as i drive off from park and after a couple secs it doesn't show any leak anymore. but always after it sits there idling. also when i turn on my ac i smell something like freon coming from the vents. I want to do a wildlife related internship this summer, preferably with birds, how do I find one?

I'm a college student majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. I'd really enjoy going away this summer and doing an internship. I'm from MN. Why am I always hungry?

Stop eating McDonalds all together. With the calories you intake from their small meal , you could have eaten a medium to big meal at home. Also, whoever said taht fats make you gain fats is a retard. I'm sorry for being so mean but that's the truth. Fats has nothing to do with weight gain. Of course all food makes you gain weight if you go over the calorie limit (which also depends on your activity level) but you do need 50-70 grams of fat per day. Also yes carbs do make you gain weight, but also give you long lasting energy. So eat healthy, and maybe try to calculate how much you eat, exercise and you will be fine. Being hungry sucks, so eat rich foods like whole grain, chicken fish etc.. no mcdonalds!

How reliable is this quick-fix for my car?

I have a 98 Mercury Tracer, and my vacuum hose connected to the PCV valve tore, so I went to an autoshop and the manager removed the whole hose and valve and put a tube in its place with no valve. he said it was a temporary fix. Now when I crank my car, it idles at about 2000 RPMs and I get a lot of blow by when the car cranks, but the blow by goes away once I shift into drive. How long can this solution last? I cant afford to buy a new vacuum hose/PCV valve, and Im about to move, so I'll have to drive for about 450 miles.. What should I do?

Why dooes Final Fantasy suck for consoles but is good on handhelds?

All the things the doctor may have told her she is at risk for is actually because of her weight problem. Being obese takes a great toll on you body, obese people are prone to diabetes, heart attacks, strokes, cancer, stretch marks, varicose veins, knee and ankle problems etc., etc., etc. Tell your friend to keep eating well and working out, diet, nutrition and exercise can get her back in shape, lower her blood pressure and lower her risk factor for all the things the doctor mentioned to her. He didn't say she has it, he said she is at risk for it because of her obesity. So if you want to prevent future problems then keep working at losing weight and getting in shape. No starvation dieting, that's the worse thing you can do, your body builds more fat tissue because it thinks your starving it, and actually you are. Her doctor should have given her a diet menu, foods that are good for you and build you up while you are slimming down. If you can get her to eat 5 mini meals a day and take a multiple vitamin, and keep up with the exercise, but don't over do it, gradually increase the reps as the weight diminishes. You want her to lose weight not die of a heart attack. Let her have one poached egg and two slices of bacon, a 5 ounce gl of orange juice and a gl of milk. (one meal) say around 7 - 7: 30 AM , Then about 11 have a portion of tuna salad, a pickle spear, a diet ice tea, and a yogurt, (meal two) around 3:00 PM have 5 oz. of chicken , fresh raw broccoli Florette's and cauliflower pieces, with a non fat salad dressing to dip them in, one slice of wheat bread and an orange or a banana. (orange - vitamin C - Banana - lots of potium). (meal three). (Broccoli and cauliflower - cancer preventive veggies). About 6 PM have 5 oz of lean red meat, with a salad of red peppers,tomatoes, Romain lettuce, a little chopped celery, garlic, olive oil and wine vinegar, a slice of wheat bread with a little marmalade (Sugar free) ! Just enough for one, not a whole salad bowl, you get it? You can add a yogurt for desert if you like. (Meal four). About 9 PM By then you will be at the gym and you will be working out, or just finishing up, or already at home, then have a portion of instant oat meal, a five oz cup of raisins not packed, a half a banana, a little Cinnamon if desired, and coffee or tea no sugar and just a teaspoon of whole milk. (meal five). Not a good idea to eat too heavy before bedtime. The end! What does this do, well, it tells your body not to produce fat cells because you are not starving it. Every few hours it gives you a burst of energy to keep going, running up and down the stairs, mowing the lawn, jogging with a friend. Crash diets and starvation diets are not good choices, they fix one thing an screw up another, have regular doctor check ups and don't exceed your limitations, but don't wimp out over those extra two or three reps. Keep up the mini meals and exercise and see the doctor at least once a month, and he will start telling her she has reduced her risk factor with the more and more weight she loses. Tell her winners never quit and quitters never win, so don't be a quitter. It was real easy to pack on the pounds but it's going to be an all uphill struggle to get them off. I go to ECOT (electronic clrooms of tomorrow). They give you a computer to use for it, so the programs and etc. don't take up eight gigabytes of your hard drive. There are actual teachers for every cl, and there are live, interactive cl sessions called Elluminate. You only have to log on 5 hours a day, but you don't have to be working during that time (I'm logged right now). I have health problems to, and it's made it so much easier. School doesn't interfere with doctors appointments. I can get up at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and go to school then. It's great.

My daughter is 18 months old and sometimes I just look at her and just start crying, thinking about how fast she has grown and just wanting time to slow down a little bit. I also think of having another baby but I really don't want to miss out on anything with my daughter and really just want to enjoy her now. And not have to share that love with two children right now. I don't want my kids too far apart, because I want them to be close. Anyway it is my experience and belief that if the two of you do not have similar parenting styles it will ultimately create tension in your relationship. My husband and I parent with our love and discipline in very much the same way, so there is harmony in our household. Also the older the children get, they will begin to see that the two of you don't agree on parenting methods, and as much as I hate to say it, they will use the two of you against each other. Keep in mind also that if the two of you are together when you go into labor and have this little girl, he will most likely think that he has some sort of parenting rights and decisions when it comes to her. I say jump ship if you can not convince him to change some things, and no your not a bad person because your putting your daughters up bringing in front of your own happiness, and other relationships; this my dear is what good mothers will do. I have a question about enemas?

sorry if this is tmi, but I've been slightly constipated for about four days. I've had several small bowel movements, but it feels as if the amount that's coming out is not as much as what should be coming out. I'm going to give myself an enema. I read online that people who use enemas to relieve mild constipation only use those small bulb syringe things and only use a small amount of water, as opposed to the people who use them for routine, thorough cleansings with the big bags and stuff. I have one of those little bulb things for cleaning out ears (it's unused) and I'm planning on just filling it with lukewarm distilled water, injecting a small amount, and then holding it in for maybe 30 seconds before releasing it. Because I'll be using so little water and only holding it in for 30 seconds or so, I won't really have to worry about electrolyte imbalance, right?

If you're on combat ops then you will be igned to an infantry btn. and you will do everything from set up the big gp hootches to building the showers and shitters to standing guard stringing barb wire, laying mines, building fighting positions and guess what else? Combat ops. Yeah, thats why they call it Combat Engineers. And yes, you will learn carpentry skills.

Does anyone remember the old Crayola computer game from the 90's??

I remember I used to play this computer game on the PC when I was a lot younger, in probably the mid or late nineties. It was sort of similar to Kid Pix but it was a Crayola game where you could draw with Crayola markers and crayons etc and it had all this other neat stuff like a coloring book and these AWESOME stamp-like things where you could make realllly long things. For example, there was a weiner dog and the longer you made the line, the longer the weiner dog..and there was a sandwich and a cactus etc. There was also this cool feature where you could destroy your picture in all these cool ways with dynamite or flushing it down the toilet and stuff. You could buy a cheap eye lash curler which will make your eyelashes look longer or buy fake eyelashes. Even just a little mascara should help too. Well there are a few things going on here. First off, you are both in 7th grade and I am sure he is just as nervous as you! If you two are as intimate as you say, he probably is just as interested in you as you are in him. However, there is no need to rush the relationship! That will happen over time! You both are still figuring out what you look for in a person. Also keep in mind that when he is a jerk around his friends and then nice later, that's NOT him training you to be better, that's him telling his friends that you don't mean as much to him as he does to you! He is playing the "cool" card, so don't put up with it! Also, you should stop letting him grab you.
