Medical mal-practice?

When I was 23 (i am now 30) I got pregnant and had my Dr. give me a tubal ligation...i thought at the time it was the best thing for me..when i asked my dr to do one she never discussed other birth control options just agreed well right after i had my son they whisked me away and did the surgery..i was barely coherent i dont remember signing anything to ok it..my question is now that i want a reversal do i have grounds to sue my prior Dr? Im not looking for tons of money just money to correct what never shouldve been done at that young age..my current Dr's say if that was them they wouldve never considered that an option at such a young age...
