Im doing a snagging list on a brand new house we've bought....?

and wondering if anyones got any useful tips for things to look out for that that I wouldnt obviously think about. Im going to check all the obvious stuff like fittings, fixtures, electrics but someone out here must have a few little tricks of the trade on what to watch out for when doign a snag list on a brand new house..
