Can i go see Ice Age Three if i havent seen the others?

Well as the film is for a younger audiance it explains everything in the plot except for how all the charecters got to be a group. Mainly its cuz they all saved this little girl that is of no signifigance. So basically, you don't HAVE to watch the others
