If government has mismanaged their allowance and run up a 9 trillion dollar deficit...?

The Liberal argument is that we NEED all of these wasteful, bankrupt programs so increasing the funding is more important than cutting anything. Every major program is bankrupt, so guess what? Just give them more. They pushed for more Educational funding for decades, and now public schools spend more than Private schools in my city. Graduation is still below 50% and all the building were replaced. Now what? More money?I thought it was funding that caused the problems.
